Since our class has a love for gnomes after our math stories, we have designed and made a special Kindness Gnome for December. Unlike the Elf on the Shelf, the Kindness Gnome spreads kindness instead of mischief. It leaves encouraging notes, and brings special treats for people who help us around the school, like our office staff, lunchroom helpers, Education Assistants, and caretaker. If you have extra blank Christmas cards or small treats (eg. candy canes, tea) that you would be able to send for the Kindness Gnome to distribute, they would be much appreciated!
