"We've been working on bubbles for a long time and we learned about bubbles that you have to do it on a windy day." Inventions...

Today we started reading the wonderful book The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Bryan Selznick. This story, told in a mixture of pictures and words, has many fascinating mysteries in it. We will be using it as a starting point for our upcoming exploration of inventions, machines, automata, and silent films. So much to learn and do!
